Seth Baetzold's English Channel Swim Charity Fundraiser
Seth Baetzold has plans to swim the English Channel, (21 miles) between July 21-27 of 2022.
The accompanying boat will be the Masterpiece captained by Fred Mardle.
The English Channel contains water between 55 and 63 degrees F, waves, wind, jelly fish, and freighter ships. Most swimmers take between 7 and 16 hours to complete one crossing from Dover England to France.
In order to benefit something other than himself, Seth would like to raise money for the North Saint Paul food shelf in Minnesota. The food shelf gives donated food to needy families in the North Saint Paul area.
Seth has swam thousands of miles in his lifetimes and countless races and would like to give back to the community. Seth is originally from North Saint Paul and now lives in the area.
